Mohammad Ahsan Saad

Biochemist with extensive experience in photodynamic therapy, tumor biology, immunology, and biomedical imaging. He has designed rational combination therapies, for the treatment of different pathologies from a biochemistry perspective using his expertise in photodynamic therapy and tumor immunology. He has worked with many different cancer models including skin cancer, oral cancer, pancreatic cancer, and glioblastoma with a common goal to develop mechanistically synergistic combination therapies to treat disease, especially cancer. His current research focuses on developing treatment combinations for oral and pancreatic cancers to enhance responsiveness and minimize adverse events associated with immune checkpoint therapies
