Ana del Rosario Niño López

PhD in Mathematics with highest honors (cum laude) from the University of Cádiz, where she also completed her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics as well as Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Education. Her research began and continues within the “Relapse 0: Mathematics Against Childhood Leukemia” project, focusing her work on the application of mathematical models to biomedical problems. She combines research and teaching with an intense cultural activity and active participation in science outreach initiatives and scientific events. She firmly believes in the power of mathematics as a tool to understand and improve people’s lives.
