Cristian Mendes

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2012 from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and earned his PhD in Materials Science and Technology from the same university in 2020, where he studied various functional photocurable materials for the fabrication of sensors and actuators. Afterwards, he obtained a postdoctoral fellowship from the Basque Government, with which he worked for two years at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) to study different naturally derived photocurable materials and their 3D printing techniques. He is currently a Marie Curie postdoctoral researcher at BCMaterials, and his project focuses on the development of more sustainable photocurable materials for use as solid electrolytes in batteries.
